Community Integrated Care is one of the UK's largest health and social care charities.

We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs.

It's exciting and rewarding work, and we're full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we've grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland.

We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect.

This resonates in our vision of "Your Life, Your Choice" and our strategy "Best Lives Possible".

We have strong values and we're proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector.

In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people.

Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going 'the extra mile' for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development.

We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

Community Integrated Care is recruiting to expand our current team of Support Workers in Huntly.

Role overview – As a Support Worker, your role will be to support individuals within their own homes, ensuring they are able to live as independently as possible and are supported to make decisions and live amazing lives.

At this service, we support 4 individuals with learning disabilities who live in a large bungalow in a quiet area of Huntly, with good train and bus links to the town.

The people we support are active in their local community, enjoying activities such as swimming, music and arts and crafts, so we are looking for people who are fun, active and enjoy supporting others to live the best lives possible.

In this role, you will provide support to individuals with different needs; however, we can provide training on Moving and Positioning, Epilepsy and MAPA.

If you hold a full UK driving license, that would be a great bonus but is not a mandatory requirement.

We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so candidates must be flexible to work on different days and on different shifts; we currently work with early and late shifts, as well as some waking nights.

We are currently recruiting for a 36 hour post.

We recognise that not everyone who would be perfect for the role will have professional experience.

We're passionate about recruiting to individuals' values and we recruit people from all walks of life; from people with experience in a support worker or care assistant role, to people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.

We look for people who share our company values : We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable.

People's values are important to us.

We look for people with :

Patience

Empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others

A strong work ethic

Reliability

Honesty

Determination

A problem solver

Resilience
