Food And Beverage Supervisor

A well-established 4-star hotel near Auckland Airport is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry who's passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and supporting a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide a warm and friendly welcome to guests and visitors

Supervise and support Food & Beverage Attendants, including coaching and training

Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met

Maximise sales opportunities through strong product knowledge and suggestive selling

Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service

Job Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a food and beverage or hospitality supervisory role

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and support a diverse team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations

Ability to handle guest feedback or complaints in a calm and professional manner

Proven ability to manage busy service periods and maintain high standards under pressure

Attention to detail in presentation, service quality, and compliance procedures

Competence in cash handling, POS systems, and basic reporting

A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example on the floor

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol check

Flexible availability to work on a rotating 7-day roster (guaranteed 40 hours per week)

Must have reliable transport to and from Auckland Airport
