Opportunity for part time or full time MIT / Mammographer to join a great team in the beautiful Tauranga, Bay of Plenty.

We are looking for a Mammographer to work in our lovely Tauranga offices along with the opportunity for general MIT work. The successful applicant will need to possess many skill sets; as a flexible team player, you will be able to build and maintain effective working relationships, demonstrate excellent communication skills and be highly self-motivated.

Bay Radiology is a busy multi-modality private practice with multiple clinics across the beautiful and booming Bay of Plenty region, including our new branch at 17th Avenue.

    • About You – Ideal Candidate

    This role would suit someone who has a desire to deliver high quality imaging and be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. So, if you feel you have the right mix of technical, personal skills and can cope with the variety of challenges, we would love to hear from you.

    Ideally you will hold a post graduate certificate in mammography, in order to participate in the Breastscreen Aotearoa (BSA) programme. Consideration and support may be given to an applicant who is currently a registered Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) who would like to undertake this qualification. This role would suit MITs who have a desire to deliver high quality imaging and be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. There is a component of General MIT work included in this role.

    Please note, appointment to this position will be conditional on a satisfactory Police vetting and risk assessment as per the Children's Act 2014.
