The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Financials consultant to join our Oracle team and shape the future of technology for leading organisations. You will be at the forefront of innovation, driving impact and digital transformation in a dynamic environment. You may have significant existing Oracle experience, or otherwise be an experienced and exceptional ERP / FMIS Finance consultant.

You will have the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert in the Accounting and Finance work stream, hold key relationships with users and technology teams internally and externally, and mentor other Consultants and Analysts in your team to deliver best practice solutions. The work is varied across a diverse set of clients and industries.

Qualifications

Essential skills and experience :

ERP / FMIS Specialist with strong knowledge of ERP Financials modules i.e. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Cash Management

Oracle Cloud ERP / FMIS experience is valued but not essential

Proven 3+ years of experience in Financials implementations, upgrades & support projects with hands-on configuration skills.

Experience across the full software development life cycle.

Ability to work independently, execute implementation projects following established guidelines / procedures and take initiative to explore and solve problems.

Exceptional client service and client management skills; able to build and maintain effective client relationships.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Able to drive high performance from people while fostering collaboration : set the direction and expectations for the team, align their strengths to tasks, and challenge them to raise the bar while providing support.

Committed to maintaining and developing own skills and certifications; willing to learn, embrace challenges and be hands-on.

Experience as an Accountant and / or Controller with a Chartered Accountant or similar qualification would be highly beneficial but not essential.

Active Oracle Cloud Financials Certification is valued.

Consulting experience with a large Tier 1 professional services organisation preferred but not essential.
