We’re looking for a Senior Integration Developer to join our dynamic team in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and help deliver seamless, innovative solutions that empower businesses to thrive. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with problem‑solving skills to design, build, and implement integrations that make a real impact. You’ll collaborate with talented analysts and architects, provide trusted advice to clients, and mentor fellow developers – all while working on projects that challenge and inspire.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and design integrations that meet current and future needs.
- Develop and deploy integrations with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Connect disparate systems and data sources using middleware platforms, APIs, and custom code to enable seamless data exchange and workflow automation.
- Manage the full implementation lifecycle from design and development through testing and deployment.
- Document designs, configurations, and workflows, and share knowledge across the team.
- Provide ongoing support and optimisation, troubleshooting issues and improving performance.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and insights to the team.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years’ experience designing and implementing Azure-based integration solutions.Familiarity with other integration products such as MuleSoft / WSO2 / Boomi.Extensive hands‑on experience with Azure services including Functions, API Management, Blob Storage, Queue Storage, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Event Grid.Expertise in integration technologies and patterns such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, Webhooks, message queues, and event‑driven architectures.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in integration projects, such as TypeScript, Node.js, or .NET.Familiarity with ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep for infrastructure as code.Strong understanding of authentication and authorisation mechanisms including OAuth, JWT, IAM roles, and policies.Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or Sentry.Proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira, with experience participating in Agile ceremonies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.Valid New Zealand work rights and current residency in the country.Exposure to Angular, JavaScript, Docker, Git & Gitlab source control, and CI / CD pipeline builds.What’s in it for you?
