Your opportunity
Are you passionate about delivering high-impact events that connect DairyNZ with our New Zealand's dairyfarmers?
We're looking for a dynamic and collaborative leader to join our team and drive the planning, management, and delivery of support for regional and national events.
In this role, you'll lead the remotely located Farmer Events Team and implement our Event Support Plan, helping extend DairyNZ's influence through impactful and professional farmer events.
What You'll Be Doing
Leadership and management of the Events Support Team.
Implement our national Event Support Plan.
Oversee a national calendar of farmer-focused events.
Collaborate with marketing and comms to ensure strong event promotion.
Drive innovation in event delivery and team performance.
Ensure events reflect DairyNZ's values and deliver real value to farmers.
Ensuring farmer requests and referrals are followed up effectively to deliver value and insights.
About you
You will be a great leader, able to provide support and direction to a remote team, be focused on collaboration to deliver excellence and solutions focused.
Strong leadership experience of remote teams.
Proven experience in event planning and delivery.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to think strategically and deliver operational excellence.
Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
