About the Role
As a Compliance Officer , you will contribute towards compliance and enforcement activities relating to the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act (SERPA) 1990, and the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. Activities will be carried out in a way that contributes to Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) and the Smokefree Aotearoa Smokefree 2025 Action Plan.We have a full time, permanent opportunity located in Timaru.
Working with various key stakeholders, you will undertake targeted, and evidence based compliance activity in the Te Waipounamu Regional Team. You will also contribute to nationally consistent and effective systems / processes for regional delivery and reporting of compliance activity including development of national standards of practice.
