About the roleReporting to the General Manager Product & Marketing, we are looking for a driven National Sales Manager to lead our Reseller sector.

You will be focusing on commodity products and delivering exceptional results through strategic account management and people leadership.

This senior leadership role is ideal for a commercially astute and people-focused sales professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, eager to influence the Reseller strategy.As the National Sales Manager – Reseller, you will : Lead the external sales team for the reseller sector.Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth and revenue targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key reseller accounts.Oversee the launch and marketing of new commodity products across the reseller network.Identify new business opportunities and drive market sector growth.Drive a high-performing and accountable team through leadership, coaching and development.We are ideally looking for someone who has : Experience in a senior sales leadership role of 5 years or more.Strong understanding of distributor networks and solution-based sellingProven B2B sales experience, ideally through distributor networks or directly to sectors like plumbing, civil infrastructure (water), irrigation, or processing.Proven track record of driving growth, managing key accounts and delivering on budgets.Sharp commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionExcellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.Outstanding leadership, coaching and mentoring skills to bring the best out of diverse teamsA strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.Proficient with using CRM (such as HubSpot) and sales data reporting.What's on offerCompetitive remuneration + STISouthern Cross Medical InsuranceLife insurance & Free WillsAbout UsAsmuss, a family-owned New Zealand company, leads in supplying steel and flow control products and solutions nationwide.
