This is a full‑time role based in Hillpark, Auckland. You will be working Monday – Friday. Shift pattern as per below : 8 : 30 am – 5 pm, Monday, Wednesday & Friday; 11 am – 7 : 30 pm, Tuesday & Thursday.
We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist, preferably with experience in the Youth sector, to join our Real Talk programme. You will be reporting to a Team Coach and will be co‑facilitating the Real Talk Group Programme which runs over 10 weeks, offering early interventions for vulnerable taiohi struggling with symptoms of mild to moderate anxiety and depression. It is delivered with the intent of teaching skills that will enable them to better manage intense emotions, social stressors and other things that get in the way of everyday life. One‑to‑one support is also offered as part of the service delivery and another key aspect of the role is networking with local communities, schools, and other NGOs.
Job Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will draw on your experience working with young people and expertise from a range of treatment modalities to provide therapeutic interventions in supporting young people to build confidence, resilience, and well‑being.
