Opportunity to join a multi-site organisation that is on the grow, to be responsible for the delivery of best practice HR, ER and IR advice and the provision of operational support to the New Zealand business.
This role is sole charge, sits on the senior leadership team, has national scope and is a blend of strategic delivery and day to day operational management.
Key Responsibilities :
Assisting with thedevelopment ofthe strategic plan
Strategy implementation
Provision of 'hands on' generalist HR operational support
Talent management and development
ER and IR management
Union relationships and collective bargaining
Provision of advice to senior leaders
Coaching and leader capability uplift
Performance management support and advice
HR projects
Health and Safety culture
Key Skills and Experience :
Minimum 5-8 years Senior People and Culture role in a multi-site organisation
Strong HR legislation and ER / IR knowledge
Union engagement
Advocate for a zero harm culture
Proven ability to coach and develop others
We are looking for an HR practitioner who is well experienced with industrial relations, HR processes and can lead the NZ HR presence.
Experience in the building, infrastructure or manufacturing industries will be well regarded- although not essential.
You will need to bewell motivated, bring a good energy, and the ability to relate to frontline workers and executives alike- have well developed influencing and interpersonal skills.
