We are currently seeking for a self-driven Buyer to be part of a member of the Purchasing Team.

You will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective sourcing of the raw materials, finished goods, packaging and other supplies and services required for Sensient New Zealand to meet customer requirements.As a key member of the Sensient team, you will be required to push boundaries and innovate onsite in the office, 5 days per week.What you will do : Secure raw materials, equipment, or services as needed or requested for the operation.Managing suppliers and raw materials assigned.Manages Manage Resource Planning (MRP) settings to ensure optimal lead times and inventory levels, and to minimize redundant inventory.Completes receipting and costing of goods.Performs other duties that may be assigned to or required of the job.What you will bring : Bachelor's degree or equivalent education / equivalent work experience at a professional level required.Knowledge of accounting and inventory control.3-5 previous experience in procurement preferred.Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One experience preferred.What you'll get : Opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues, onsite 5 days per weekAn excellent salary, benefit offering and development opportunitiesA thorough and effective training experience during onboarding and beyondABOUT SENSIENT TECHNOLOGIES NEW ZEALANDSensient Technologies New Zealand, is a fast growing business unit within the Sensient Flavours & Colours, Asia-Pacific Group.
