We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our high performing Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Riverlink) team. This two-year fixed term, full-time role is based in our central Wellington office.
About the role :
As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of projects for the programme of works that will be undertaken to support the delivery of the Greater Wellington component of Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Riverlink), ensuring that it is coordinated with our partners. This is a senior role in Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Riverlink), working as part of a team, with good collaboration skills and a sound knowledge of implementing major flood protection infrastructure.
You'll work closely with Programme and Interface Leads, the Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Riverlink) Advisor, and Engineers to ensure the successful delivery of the Greater Wellington programme, while also driving the broader outcomes and partner benefits of the programme. You'll collaborate closely with the Greater Wellington team, project partners and the wider Council to achieve these shared programme goals. You will also support the Manager Projects and Programmes and the Director Delivery Group as required.
Skills and experience required :
Experience in engineering construction and management of civil engineering, building contractors and contracts.

The remuneration for this position, inclusive of all benefits, is $119,206 to $178,809, with a midpoint of $149,007. Starting remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
