Job description

We are looking for a talented individual with an interesting and varied 12-month fixed-term opportunity to work at Tower.

As part of our friendly, welco ming legal team, y our day-to-day would look like

  • Draft ing , review ing and negotiat ing a broad range of commercial agreements for various stakeholders across the business.
  • Provid ing legal advice to the business, including Tower claims and recovery teams
  • Represent ing the legal function on key business projects
  • Review ing and a dvising on marketing collateral
  • Interpret ing , draft ing and review ing insurance policy wordings
  • Assist ing wit h claims responses
  • Liais ing with Tower’s external legal advisers (as needed)

During your t ime with us, success will look like :

  • Building trusted relationships across the business through clear, practical legal advice.
  • Demonstrating strong ownership of legal matters with timely and accurate delivery.
  • Contributing meaningfully to key projects and initiatives as well as to the BAU .

    • To thrive in this role, you'll need :

  • Solicitor holding a New Zealand practising certificate with a minimum of 4 years PQE with experience in major law firms or equivalent in- house roles (insurance / financial services experience preferred but not essential).
  • The ability to deal with a wide range of legal issues while maintaining a consistently high level of service.
  • A strong customer focus and take pride in building relationships with internal and external customers.
