Eftpos Taranaki Ltd, a locally owned and operated business, is proud to be part of the Smartpay Group, giving you the best of both worlds—local knowledge and nationwide support.We're looking for a dynamic Sales Consultant to help businesses across the Taranaki region thrive with cutting-edge EFTPOS and POS solutions.________________________________________About the RoleAs a Payments Consultant, you'll be responsible for selling, renting, and promoting EFTPOS, POS, and related services.

You'll work closely with clients, vendors, and partners like Worldline and Smartpay to deliver tailored payment solutions that meet the unique needs of local businesses.________________________________________Key Responsibilities

• Generate and convert leads into sales and rental contracts
• Promote and sell EFTPOS terminals, POS systems, consumables, and acquiring services
• Deliver and install equipment, provide training, and support clients
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage leads
• Provide after-hours service support on a rostered basis
• Travel across the region as required________________________________________What We're Looking For
• Proven sales ability and a persistent, positive attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, efficient, and reliable with strong time management
• Tech-savvy with basic Excel / Word and CRM experience
• A team player who can also work independently
• A self-starter with strong motivation and initiative
• Willingness to go the extra mile for clients and colleagues________________________________________Bonus Skills
• Experience with Eftpos and POS systems preferred but not essential
• EFTPOS terminal installation and troubleshooting knowledge
