Employment Facilitator – Full Time

Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Community Care Trust Aotearoa is a long-standing not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and thrive in the workplace. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Employment Facilitator (Kaimahi Whakauru Mahi) to join our team in Invercargill (Waihōpai) .

About the Role

About the Role (Mō te Tūranga) :

As an Employment Facilitator, you will work alongside people with diverse needs to help them become work ready. This is a rewarding role where every day is different, and you will :

  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to participants.
  • Facilitate small group sessions focused on building skills for employment.
  • Teach practical skills and confidence to support people in their journey to work.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with participants, employers, and the wider community.

What we are looking for

What we are looking for (Ngā Pūkenga e Rapu Nei Mātou) :

  • Empathy, patience, and understanding of people with diverse abilities.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Flexibility to meet individual needs (role is primarily Monday–Friday).
  • A full, clean driver’s licence.
  • First Aid Qualification (Or be willing to complete one at our cost)
  • Strong knowledge of the Waihōpai / Southland community, networks, and services.
  • Experience in facilitation or community support (training will be provided for the right person).
