Experienced Mixed or Large Animal Veterinarian
Experienced mixed or large animal veterinarian - enjoy variety and lifestyle!
Are you an experienced mixed or large animal veterinarian looking to balance your workload, reduce the heavy lifting associated with large-animal work, and expand your skills in small-animal medicine?
Dairy Flat Vet Hospital has the perfect role for you!
Our 3-veterinarian practice offers a mix of small-animal cases and enjoyable large-animal work with motivated owners and lots of cute lambs.
This is an opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds—continuing to care for large animals in a fun, rewarding way while developing new skills in the small-animal side.
Variety and flexibility -
a mixed caseload with the chance to focus more on small animal medicine while still enjoying some easy large animal work.
Fun large animal work -
most of our large animal clients are motivated lifestyle block owners, we have no large cattle herds to pregnancy test and equine work is mostly confined to pony club and pleasure horses.
Supportive team -
work alongside experienced, friendly colleagues who value collaboration, professional growth, and a positive workplace.
Excellent lifestyle -
enjoy rural living close to stunning beaches and the Hauraki Gulf, while remaining just a short drive from Auckland's social, sporting and cultural opportunities.
Flexible hours -
full-time or part-time options available, with excellent locum support to ensure balance.
