We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Application Support Manager to take ownership of the support, enhancement, and optimisation of AUT\'s enterprise applications throughout their lifecycle. This role is central to ensuring AUT\'s complex systems remain reliable, integrated, and future focused.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior support specialists.
  • Organise and facilitate prioritisation and planning sessions using agile delivery methodology.
  • Oversee the support and optimisation of enterprise applications, ensuring seamless integration and reliability across a large, complex environment.
  • Manage release and change processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Create and manage roadmaps for key applications.
  • Triage incoming jobs and allocate effectively across the team.
  • Provide guidance and hands-on support to help the team deliver outcomes.

You are an experienced people leader with strong technical knowledge and a track record of driving improvements in application support. You thrive in complex environments and enjoy balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement. With a strong understanding of enterprise applications and agile delivery, you bring both the technical expertise and leadership skills needed to ensure AUT\'s systems operate seamlessly.

Qualifications and experience

Essential

  • Proven experience leading a high-performing application support team.
  • Strong knowledge of how enterprise applications function, integrate, and interrelate.
  • Practical experience with agile delivery methods for planning and prioritisation.
  • Solid understanding of release and change management processes.
  • Proven Product or Platform Owner experience in ServiceNow, Dynamics CRM, TechnologyOne or a similar enterprise system.
  • Desirable

  • Experience in scripting and development using JavaScript, APIs, and web services.
  • Familiarity with database structures, particularly MSSQL and SSIS.
  • Hands-on experience across more than one of the three key systems (ServiceNow, Dynamics CRM, TechnologyOne or similar).
  • Relevant tertiary IT qualification.
