This is a fulltime, fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2026.
The role is based at Conservation House in Wellington, offering the chance to grow your coordination expertise while contributing to meaningful work.ResponsibilitiesDiary and email management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.Preparing and quality-assuring complex correspondence including Parliamentary briefs, Ministerial reports, and OIA responses.Building strong relationships across the leadership team and support staff.Managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Anticipating change and understanding what's important to keep things moving smoothly.To succeed in this role / QualificationsProven experience in executive support or a similar administrative role.Strong coordination skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.Excellent relationship management and communication skills.A proactive approach to managing workflows and anticipating needs.Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
An understanding of—or willingness to learn—the workings of central Government.Confidence in managing meeting logistics, taking minutes, and tracking actions.This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career while supporting conservation outcomes.
