Hours of work :

Sunday to Wednesday 9am - 5 : 30pm
Thursday 12pm - 8 : 30pm

Are you ready to take your first step into leadership? We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as our Trading 2IC / Stockroom team member.

As the Trading 2IC, you will assist the Trading Manager with everything Shopfloor related, including The Entertainment and Technology departments and the Price Integrity function. You will demonstrate great leadership of the teams in these areas.

Your role will also encourage you to actively promote a safe environment, and ensure all legal trading requirements are met. You will ensure planograms are maintained and promotions are set up correctly.

As the Stockroom team member you will be responsible for adhering to the Traffic management plan to ensure a safe environment and all Worksafe requirements are met, you will also be receipting and dispatching products, maintaining database integrity and the loading and unloading of delivery trucks via Forklift. As this involves crossing the public footpath, an F endorsed forklift license is a requirement of this role.

Responsibilities

Assist the Trading Manager with shopfloor responsibilities across The Entertainment and Technology departments and the Price Integrity function.

Lead and demonstrate strong teamwork in assigned areas to deliver customer experiences.

Maintain planograms and ensure promotions are set up correctly.

Promote a safe working environment and ensure all legal trading requirements are met.

Stockroom duties including adhering to the Traffic management plan and Worksafe requirements.

Receipting and dispatching products, maintaining database integrity, and loading / unloading delivery trucks via forklift.

Cross the public footpath only with appropriate safety practices and comply with F endorsed forklift license requirements.

Qualifications

You must have sufficient right to work in New Zealand for this role.

Ideally you will have :

Proven retail experience

Strong leadership qualities

Commitment to the customer and the in-store experience

Excellent communication skills

F endorsed Forklift License or the ability to obtain it is a must, as this role has 3 days in the stockroom.
