Painter

Perfect Master Service Limited seeks an experienced full-time painter for residential and commercial projects.

Duties include surface prep, repairs, and quality painting.

Must hold NZQF Level 4 or 2+ years' experience, be fit for physical and height work.

Offers 30+ hours weekly, $29–$33 per hour, Auckland-based

About the ROLEWe are hiring a seasoned painter to deliver high-quality painting services for residential and commercial clients.

Your duties will include preparing and repairing surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and exterior facades, filling cracks and holes, sanding, priming, and applying paint to a professional standard.

You may also be required to recommend appropriate paint products, perform minor plastering, wallpapering, and touch-ups as part of renovation and maintenance work.

This is a permanent, ongoing role.

About YOUYou need to have solid experience in both residential and commercial painting.

You will be expected to complete projects on time, keep work sites tidy, and ensure all tasks meet health and safety requirements.

An eye for detail and pride in workmanship are essential, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirement

NZQF Level 4 qualification in Painting (such as National Certificate in Painting and Decorating), or at least 2 years of relevant work experience to substitute a formal qualification.

Prefer proven experience in residential and commercial painting

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to prepare surfaces and apply different painting techniques (brush, roller, spray)

Physically fit, able to climb ladders, work at heights and lift heavy equipment

Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol testing

Multi-lingual proficiency preferred, as many of our customers are from Asian communities

Conditions and Benefits :

Auckland-based, no inter-city business travel required

Legal minimum leave and holiday entitlement, with some weekend work required

Full-time – minimum 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours per week if you wish to boost your income level

Competitive hourly wage from $29.00 to $33.00 per hour, depending on experience
