We are looking for skilled and passionated Chefs to join our team in Tauranga, New
Zealand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation,
excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
environment.
Main Tasks :
- Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage food supply orders.
- Oversee the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen staff to enhance food
preparation processes.
Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on best practices.Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations.Train and supervise kitchen staff as required.Manage food preservation, including freezing and storage techniques.What's on offer :
Hourly rate at $24- $26 (Gross).The role is based on an assured 30-40 hours a week.The work is carried out in Tauranga, New Zealand.Requirements :
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen, or a relevantqualification of NZQF Diploma in cookery,
