Job descriptionPrepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and fast-food menu items. Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management. Train and guide kitchen assistants on food preparation techniques. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP standards. Plan and organize daily kitchen operations efficiently. Adapt recipes and menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences. Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain in good condition. Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service. Minimum 2 years of experience OR level 4 qualification Oversee daily café operations and ensure smooth workflow. Manage staff rosters, training, and performance. Monitor food quality and service standards. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the café. Report operational updates and issues to business owners.
