The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of Gallagher Security’s secure, scalable, cloud-native platforms and services. Reporting to the Portfolio Lead for Product Technology, you will play a pivotal role in realising the strategic architectural vision and ensuring solutions are both executable and aligned to business goals, technical standards, and operational excellence.

In This Role You Will

• Provide deep technical leadership, shaping architectural decisions and guiding engineering and product teams
• Translate the Portfolio Lead’s strategic architecture into actionable patterns and decisions that teams can execute
• Lead platform migration from legacy systems to modular, scalable services while maintaining security and operational integrity
• Establish architectural patterns, guardrails, governance practices, and technical enablers to empower teams and drive velocity
• Mentor and elevate technical leaders, building product development capability and cloud-native expertise
• Collaborate closely with product, delivery and engineering teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value
• Be based locally and enjoy working in the office alongside a high-performing team
• Enjoy opportunities for international travel, collaborating with global teams and stakeholders
