We are an award winning; people first, professional services firm operating in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.RoleIT Systems Procurement ConsultantWe are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Consultant to lead a critical IT systems procurement initiative, supporting the transition of a business-critical system from an on-premise environment to a cloud-based system (in an MS cloud environment).

This is a contract through to December, with responsibility for developing a board paper for approval, preparing procurement planning for a later tender.About the RoleAs the IT Systems Procurement Consultant, you will : Develop a comprehensive procurement plan (repurposed from an existing business case with added detail).

Prepare a board paper for December approval with procurement strategy, options, budget, and recommendations.Draft procurement documentation for RFP.Conduct market analysis to review systems, assess supplier capability, and provide recommendations.Define business needs and technical specifications to support the move to MS cloud hosting.Prepare a high-level budget, design plan, and evaluation matrix for supplier assessment.Engage closely with stakeholders including the Procurement Team, Business Users and General Manager.Ensure all procurement activity is compliant with government policy and probity requirements.QualificationsProven experience in ICT procurement, ideally in government or large organisations – particularly enterprise systems, i.e., FMIS or HRIS.Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes, including GETS.Experience with cloud migration projects, particularly Azure.Ability to develop board-level documentation, procurement plans, and evaluation frameworks.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and business audiences.Strong analytical ability to assess markets and supplier capabilities.If you are an experienced procurement professional with a strong ICT background and proven ability to deliver in complex environments, we would like to hear from you.About usAugment Resources was formed by a team of specialist recruiters and procurement & supply chain practitioners setting out to deliver a unique customer service offering to both clients and practitioners alike : By practitioners, for practitioners.If you have any queries about this opportunity, please contact Matthew Templar on 027 594 2331 or
