Support asset maintenance scheduling and data management for a New Plymouth-based project management consultancy on a fixed-term contract.Your RoleKey responsibilities include : Inputting and transferring asset data from spreadsheets into the client's maintenance management system.Creating preventive maintenance schedules for equipment based on O&M manuals, engineering documentation, and project requirements.Liaising directly with the client's team to verify asset details and ensure accuracy and completeness of information.Providing general administrative support with a focus on detail, quality, and consistency in documentation.About YouThe company is looking for : A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering; recent graduates encouraged to apply.Ability to interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and O&M manuals.Familiarity with industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, and control systems.Exceptional accuracy in data entry and documentation.Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and ability to learn maintenance management systems quickly.Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence to liaise with client representatives.Legal right to work in New Zealand (NZ citizenship, residency, or valid work visa) is mandatory.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate of $35 per hour, including 8% holiday pay and pay as you go for fixed-term contracts.Initial onboarding and guidance to familiarize with client processes and maintenance management system.Opportunity to work closely with a supportive client and experienced project team.Immediate start with meaningful work contributing to an important project.Training & DevelopmentOnboarding and guidance provided to get up to speed with client's processes and maintenance management system.Hands-on experience in asset maintenance planning for a major project.Enhance understanding of maintenance scheduling, O&M documentation, and asset management in a real-world context.Career ProgressionPotential to extend the contract up to 8 months, offering additional exposure and continuity.Opportunity to build industry contacts and develop professional communication skills.How to ApplyEmail your CV and a brief cover letter.
