The Position

You will join a team of engineers across Frontend, Backend, SRE, and QA, organized into cross-functional teams. The specific team will be determined during the interview process based on business needs and your preferences.

You will work on building tools, APIs, and integrations for our products. Our backend uses Elixir and Phoenix, with a Postgres database. The frontend uses React and Next.js. We use GitLab for version control, issue tracking, and CI / CD, hosting on AWS with multiple daily deployments.

Requirements

Must-have :

  • Significant experience as a Backend Engineer with Elixir.
  • Experience with Postgres or similar databases.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins).

    • Nice-to-have :

  • Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, React / Vue / Angular.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major projects and participate in cross-team initiatives.
  • Engage in product work, provide feedback, and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain understanding of domain from both product and engineering perspectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to the shared codebase.
  • Debug issues and participate in platform improvements.
  • Support rotations, hiring, RFC discussions, etc.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers.
  • Design and implement scalable APIs.

  • Location : Anywhere in the World.
  • Start Date : As soon as possible.

    • Compensation Philosophy

    We ensure fair, unbiased compensation and above-market pay rates globally, supporting local wealth and global talent hiring.

    The salary range is USD 51,850 to USD 116,650, depending on role, level, location, skills, and experience. Actual pay depends on various factors and may change.
