Choosing a role with Health New Zealand will see your skills put to the test in a way that can shape your career, contributing to the next generation of healthcare.You will also get five weeks of paid annual leave as an added bonus, a competitive salary and flexible working arrangements to support you in delivering your responsibilities.The RoleLead the planning, development, and assurance of investment briefs / business cases for infrastructure-enabled investments within the IIG Te Manawa Taki Region.This role is responsible for leading the alignment of business cases with Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora and IIG governance requirements, as well as ensuring consistency with nationally developed processes, templates, and tools.The Business Case Lead is instrumental in driving early-stage investment planning and providing expert guidance to enhance the quality and strategic impact of business case submissions.About YouWe're looking for someone who : Establishes positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholdersHas excellent written and verbal communication skillsCan demonstrate high level analytical and financial modelling skillsHas a qualification in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or similarWorks effectively both independently and collaborativelyDemonstrates the ability to implement Te Tiriti principles in the workplaceExperience sought : Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment brief / business case writing, financial analysis, or a related role within the infrastructure sectors, ideally within construction, water, mining, environment, or energy sectors.Strong background in business analysis (including Multi-Criteria Analysis and Cost-Benefit Analysis)Demonstrated expertise in developing high-quality business cases aligned to specific requirements and business requirements.Proven track record of developing comprehensive and persuasive business cases for infrastructure projects.The ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver high-quality business cases preferably within a public sector context.Ability to contribute to writing technical and commercial documents, as well as business proposals.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and persuasive documents tailored to business needs.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Commitment to continuous improvement.Your ImpactIn this position, your work will be instrumental in driving early-stage investment planning and providing expert guidance to enhance the quality and strategic impact of business case submissions.Why Join Health New Zealand?
