Tamaki College is an AIMHI school and the original Manaiakalani Secondary School, leveraging digital technologies to improve student learning.

We are seeking a New Zealand registered, experienced teacher with excellent classroom and leadership ability to join a supportive and collegial social sciences department. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and caring person committed to working with our diverse young people and embracing our school’s vision and school values of Respect, Innovation, Success and Excellence (RISE).

This is a full-time, permanent position, beginning term 1, Wednesday 21st January 2026.

Applicants must be NZ registered teachers residing in New Zealand and be fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum.

The successful applicant will be innovative, collaborative, energetic and have a proven track record of teaching NCEA in a multicultural environment. We encourage applicants to apply who are knowledgeable and passionate about the new social sciences refresh curriculum.
