School Bus Driver

Overview

We’re searching for a School Bus Driver (Part-Time, Casual) to join our team, providing coverage across the East Coast, Hokianga and Kaitaia areas. Reporting to our Kaitaia Depot, you’ll be working school bus hours before and after school as needed.

There may also be opportunities to pick up extra work doing charters when required. You’ll enjoy having school holidays off, except when ongoing training or development is scheduled.

Team Ritchies : Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country. We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

About You

You’re looking for a change, you want to work for a company that values your skills and work ethic and you’re ready to make the move! You enjoy driving and being out in your community. You’re a safe operator who takes pride in their appearance and communicates well. You understand that you will be transporting children to and from school, and have the patience to deal with these members of our community.

Your Skills

• Full Class 2 NZ License (minimum)
• Reliable
• Good communicator
• P endorsement
