Physiotherapist Orthopaedic Triage (TOTS)

Fixed Term Part-time 36 hrs / week for six months

Make a difference to health outcomes of Taranaki patients by providing advanced assessment and differential diagnostic skills for patients referred to the Orthopaedics.

About the Role

Physiotherapist - Orthopaedic Triage

We are seeking a NZ Registered Physiotherapist who is highly skilled in musculoskeletal assessment and diagnosis especially hips / knees / spine and wants to further their experience / skills in this area.

About the Team / Service / Location

This work occurs within the Orthopaedic Outpatient department at Taranaki Base Hospital.

About you

  • Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate
  • Valid work Visa for NZ and Drivers licence
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Physiotherapist with minimum 3 years working in the Musculoskeletal area at an advanced skill level
  • Problem solving approach
  • cultural knowledge practice, Te Reo speaking is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills to work with other staff and patients
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Desire for ongoing self-directed learning
  • Working visa / NZ residence (as appropriate)
