About the role
Our business is continuing to grow, and our services are expanding, so we have an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Receptionist / Scheduler to join our team based in Tauranga on a permanent full-time capacity.
You will become an integral part of a front-line team that provides outstanding customer service to our clients.
The role can be demanding and requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional interpersonal skills, strong commitment to quality and the ability to multi-task.
There is training but we would love you to be able to hit the ground running.
This is a full-time opportunity of five days per week with a small amount of evening and weekend work.
Responsibilities
Reception - greeting clients on their arrival and managing workflow
Managing inbound payments for all patients and ensuring accurate entry into the RIS system
Scheduling appointments for a range of complex examinations via phone
Managing telephone queries from clients and referrers
Actioning new patient referrals, entering the required information into the RIS system
Managing all referrals for the clinical team
Actioning cancellations, obtaining and documenting client feedback where able
Providing exceptional, friendly, efficient, inclusive service
Other administration tasks as required by the position
About you
Previous reception experience in the health sector preferred but not essential
A focus on delivering exceptional customer service
Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
A warm and professional phone manner
Advanced computer skills
An awareness of the need for compassion and empathy when dealing with our clients
Understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality
The ability to relate to a wide range of medical professionals and be part of a multi-disciplinary team
A high standard of personal presentation
