Role
You'll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home.
You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.
Hours : minimum 30 hours per week as rostered with a variety of shifts and days.

About you
The ideal applicant will :
Hold a minimum level 4 certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent
Hold a Dementia Care – Limited Credit Programme (LCP) Level 4 or willingness to work towards it would be an advantage, as the role is based in our dementia level care unit.
Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
Work well in a team
Enjoy working alongside older people
Be physically fit and strong
Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
Experience in an aged care environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Applicants must either reside in Oamaru or be willing to relocate to Oamaru, Otago, for this position and have a legal entitlement to live and work in NZ to apply for this position.
