Overview

Business Development Manager Australia / NZ — Part-Time Contract (Work from Home)

Company : Uno Distri. We are a strategic wholesale distribution and retail consulting agency operating across Australia and New Zealand. We help purpose-driven FMCG brands grow their retail presence by blending high-level retail strategy with practical execution, supporting both emerging brands and established businesses entering new markets or unlocking new retail channels.

This role is a B2B telesales position focused on building relationships with supermarkets and independent retailers, with the potential to expand responsibilities as performance grows.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to supermarkets and independent retailers to get products ranged across NZ
  • Pitch products with clarity and confidence
  • Overcome objections and close sales via phone and email
  • Account management and ongoing sales strategy after onboarding
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Contracting work : 5–10 hours / week to start (flexible but during business hours, must be based in NZ)
  • Hours will increase as results come in
  • Scope may grow to include more brands, categories, and sales channels
  • Utilize B2B sales expertise with experience managing sales funnels and applying effective, results-driven strategies
  • Maintain a strong sales mindset with warm, confident phone manners
  • Experience in distribution or FMCG is a bonus
  • Work independently, stay organized and reliable
  • Self-motivated and eager to grow with the company
  • Must have laptop, phone, reliable Wi-Fi, and a quiet space

Qualifications

  • B2B sales experience with expertise in managing sales funnels
  • Strong communication and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Experience in FMCG or distribution is a plus
  • Based in New Zealand
