Affinity Medical Imaging is Wellington's newest Radiology provider bringing high-tech medical imaging services in multiple locations around the Capital.

Affinity was founded by a group of local Wellington Doctors who are passionate about making a difference to our community.

Our first and already well established branch opened in Lower Hutt in February 2023, our second in Johnsonville in March 2024 and another in Newtown opening later in 2025.

We have a permanent full-time vacancy for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator for our new Newtown branch.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join an exciting, fresh organisation where you will help create a fun, inclusive, and supportive culture.

As our ideal candidate you will have previous experience as a medical receptionist, familiarity with patient & medical information software (COMRAD would be a definite advantage), and a genuine desire to provide excellent patient care.

Overview

We are recruiting for a permanent full-time Patient Care Coordinator to support the Newtown branch.

Responsibilities

Present a warm & friendly welcome to all patients & visitors

Schedule appointments that best accommodate patient needs

Ensure patients are well informed and know what to expect at their visit

Process invoices, payments and claims with efficiency and accuracy

Collate documentation and maintain records with strict attention to privacy

Requirements & How to Apply

We encourage you to apply if you have :

Previous experience in a medical customer services, reception or booking's role

Genuine interest or experience in healthcare

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, excellent computer literacy and the ability to pick up new systems quickly

Clear, concise written and verbal communication with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong confident interpersonal skills and the ability to engage at all levels
