We are looking for an experienced Driller to join our team. The successful applicant will operate and maintain drilling rigs and related equipment to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
Type : Full-Time (minimum 30 hours per week)
Wage Range : $35-$40 per hour (depending on experience)
Location : Auckland
Key Responsibilities
- Operate drilling rigs to bore holes for foundations, piling, exploration, or sampling
- Set up and dismantle drilling equipment safely on site
- Select, install, and replace drill bits, rods, casings, and drilling fluids
- Monitor drilling operations, including depth, pressure, and material conditions
- Collect and prepare soil / rock / core samples as required
- Maintain and troubleshoot drilling equipment
- Lead, train, and supervise drilling assistants / offsiders
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
