We are seeking a Small Plant Operator to join our Queenstown Mowing Team, on a fixed term basis due to the increase in grass growth over the Spring and Summer seasons until 31st December!

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Manager you will be responsible for general green space maintenance across multiple sites in the Queenstown area.

While your role is primarily edging (on a weed eater), there is the possibility of doing training and filling in on a mower operation for the right candidate, you will also be involved in helping the team with planting, weeding, and spraying, whilst making sure things are kept safe for the public, your team, and yourself.

Qualifications

A current, full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual

A willingness to accept responsibility and ownership of jobs whilst working as part of a wider team - helping out your teammates needs to be second nature

Fit and able to undertake and complete physically demanding tasks

Have knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the job

Excellent relationship building and communication skills

Motivated, with a strong desire to get the job done
