Civil Engineer

Babbage Consultants Limited invites you to join as a Civil Engineer, contributing to New Zealand’s infrastructure and land development projects. We are a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy focused on innovative, client‑centric solutions.

We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Civil Engineer who is confident in design, eager to grow, and ready to contribute to exciting and challenging projects.

Responsibilities

Deliver a range of civil infrastructure and land development projects from concept through to construction.
Create and review high‑quality design and documentation using Civil 3D.
Collaborate closely with civil, structural, and geotechnical teams to deliver practical, innovative solutions.
Support and mentor junior engineers while developing your own leadership and project management skills.
Build strong client relationships and contribute to project planning and delivery.

Qualifications

A degree in civil engineering.

4–5+ years of experience in civil engineering design and documentation, preferably in land development or infrastructure.

Proficiency in Civil 3D – this is essential.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions‑focused approach.

Working toward or already holding CPEng registration – a strong advantage.
