Responsibilities

Provide leadership to the Asset Management Team within the Property and Buildings Sector.

Support the Head of Property in the delivery of the business plan and wider strategic goals of the Property and Buildings Sector.

Have a passion for client engagement, develop and maintain strong client relationships, pursue and secure new business opportunities.

Act as the Project Manager / Director on projects as assigned, ensuring that all deliverables meet client's key objectives.

Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality to achieve the planned profit.

Manage projects, including the provision of timely and clear reports to clients, preparation of invoices, and appropriate use of accounting, record, and quality management systems.

Provide expert advice and guidance to the Property Asset Management discipline on training requirements, resourcing, quality assurance and deliverables.

Proactively update the Property Asset Management discipline on any legislative changes, policy changes, case law or learnings in specialist area.

Develop training programmes for the Property Asset Management discipline.

About you

Minimum 10+ years experience in Building Asset Management or Facility Management.

Chartered Engineer or Registered Architect.

Experience working as a professional consultant.

Experience with Asset Data Standards.

Advanced understanding of Asset Management Techniques : FMEA, RCM, Root Cause Analysis.

Experience of asset management projects on complex facilities, buildings and MEP systems.

Familiarity with Asset Management standards and reference documents, including ISO

  • , ISO
  • and the International Infrastructure Management Manual.
  • Full Professional Membership of relevant industry body EngNZ, RICS, NZIA or other relevant industry body (with qualification and experience standards).

    Thorough understanding of building asset management.

    Financial Forecasting experience, investment plans, LTMP, Whole of life costing.

    Proven proposal development and business development experience.

    Experience developing client pipelines and prospects across the industry / sector.

    Proven experience of developing effective relationships with clients.

    Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.

    Project and technical delivery – 40%
