Based at New Plymouth Airport, we have a part-time position available for someone who has exceptional customer service skills and isn't afraid of hard work.We work Monday to Sunday from 07 : 00 until 21 : 00 and we are looking to fill the following shifts : Wednesday : 14.30 - 21.00Thursday : 14.30 - 21.00Friday : 14.30 - 21.00Sunday : 14.30 - 21.00About the roleAs what we call a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in all aspects of our business.

This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations.

On the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.

You will also inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, drive and park our cars, and clean vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay so they are ready for our customers.What's on offer$25.11 per hour, plus increase your earnings with our sales incentive scheme.Uniform and Parking provided.Full training provided to help you achieve your goals & reach your potential.Employee discounts on car rental across Avis Budget Group and our partners including access to discounts and offers from retailers and big brands.Wellbeing programme including life insurance, discounted health insurance and superannuation options.What we are looking forFull, clean, valid class 1 driver's licence is essential for this role.Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided).
