Truck Driver

About the Role :

GKT Randhawa Limited is Looking for Class 4 Truck Drivers . The applicant for the position must hold NZ class 4 Driver License and must be willing to drive trucks and operate forklifts.

Pay : $ 30  to $33.60 per hour depending on experience

Location : Wellington

Minimum Hours : 30 per week

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan delivery of goods correctly so they are delivered on time.
• Safely drive trucks on designated routes.
• Supervise loading and unloading of products.
• Load and unload trucks when required (manual lifting may be involved).
• Transport fragile and heavy goods with care.
• Maintain and update records of all deliveries.
• Inspect vehicles daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Comply with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Collect delivery confirmations from customers.
• Report any truck defects or maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Operate forklift to load unload trucks.
