  • Fixed Term - 0.6 FTE Covering Parental Leave - to approximately May 2026

  • About the Role
  • Right now, we - re looking for a Registered Health Care Professional.
  • (RNOT, Social Worker) with Mental Health experience to join the Community MentalHealth Team ( CMHT).

    CMHT, provides services through a multi-disciplinary teamapproach, specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment for adults, who havea moderate to severe psychiatric disorder.The primary generic function of the - case manager - is to work alongsidepeople to assist them in achieving their goals based on individual needs.

    Asound understanding of psychiatric disorders and medications.

    Providingcommunity support, interpersonal, social, recreational, vocational, andindependent living status and activities of people served.

  • About you
  • The person in this role will need to be familiar with the many andvaried needs of clients dealing with Mental Health related issues and bepassionate about helping clients navigate a course towards recovery.
  • They will utilise their existing strengths,family & / or community supports, all while being guided by their owncultural needs, goals and aspirations.

  • Additionally;
  • Registered with a current APC to practice in NZ with relevant scope of practice
  • Relevant mental health experience
  • Experience in delivering evidence-based practice
  • Commitment to working within the strengths-based recovery approach to case management
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • A current full driver - s license is also essential.
