Nestled in the heart of the Wairarapa, you'll enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, vibrant community, and endless opportunities to explore the region's natural beauty.

You will become part of a team that's committed to improving health outcomes and equity through strong relationships, cultural responsiveness, and a shared vision for thriving tamariki and whanau.

About you

We're looking for a Registered Nurse who is ready to step into a role that's both challenging and rewarding.

To thrive here, you'll bring :

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate
  • 3+ years clinical registered nursing experience
  • Authorised Vaccinator status (or prepared to work towards it)
  • A strong commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for underserved whanau and communities
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise and clinical judgement, particularly when working with children and adolescents.
  • Hold a minimum of a competent portfolio in an approved PDRP or equivalent with a commitment to continue through the programme.
  • Confidence in applying Maori health models to nursing practice
  • An eye for detail and commitment for continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and autonomously
  • Proven experience and competence using Patient Management Systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full, clean driver's licence
  • This is your opportunity to be part of a team that's shaping healthier communities across Aotearoa.
