Central Auckland or Manukau based, permanent full-time role
Salary range : $85,537 to $101,911 + KiwiSaver + Wellness Benefits
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to customer education, sound judgment and technical knowledge and inform decisions on product investigations, warnings and bans.
Support compliance and monitoring functions across the team.
Apply policies and procedures associated with regulatory processes relevant to this role.
Provide advice and influence decision-making using knowledge and judgment.
Develop technical expertise and understand applicable legislation (Building Act and other relevant laws).
Perform technical writing and project management tasks.
Work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience and Skills Required
Experience working in a regulatory compliance or enforcement environment and / or the building system.
Experience applying policies and procedures associated with regulatory processes.
Ability to provide advice and influence decision-making.
Technical expertise in the Building Act and other relevant legislation.
Good project management skills and technical writing ability.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Previous investigation experience desired but not essential.
Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
