We're looking for a skilled and committed Curriculum Advisor – Maori Medium to join our team in Whangarei.
In this role, you'll work directly with kura and Maori medium settings to support the implementation of curriculum and aromatawai changes, with a strong focus on Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and learners in phases 1–3.
You'll provide expert advice to leadership teams and kaiako, taking a whole-school approach to curriculum and assessment transformation.
You'll be part of a regional team delivering tailored support through the curriculum advisory service, helping kura to :
Implement a knowledge-rich curriculum that delivers meaningful outcomes for akonga
Strengthen pedagogical content knowledge through professional learning
Access high-quality resources and tools to support effective teaching and learning
To succeed in this role, you'll need :
Proven experience leading curriculum and aromatawai change in Maori medium settings
Deep understanding of effective pedagogy, the science of learning, and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa
Excellent relationship-building and facilitation skills
A full NZ driver licence and willingness to travel
