Job description

Performs general engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

How you will do it :

  • Perform AutoCAD drafting, design and prepare engineering drawings (2D) and documentation as per customer’s / project requirements.
  • Create electrical schematic, design layout plans and detailed designs with AutoCAD software.
  • Provide pre‑sales support to Sales team, including proposal costing and attending technical clarifications meeting and / or presentation with customers.
  • Products sourcing from suppliers.
  • Compilation and submission of all documentation required as per the project requirements.
  • Review customer’s technical comments and revise documentation and drawings.
  • Communicate with suppliers on documentation and drawings update.
  • Attend technical clarification meetings with customers / suppliers and reply to customers and suppliers’ emails.
  • Track and monitor project documentation submission status.
  • Visual inspection and quality check on products / systems.
  • Prepare functional test documents and assist Project Operations Team on functional testing.
  • Liaise and maintain good relationships with customers, subcontractors and suppliers.

What we look for :

  • Min. Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Fire Detection and Alarm System with related experience (Marine Offshore preferred).
  • Familiar with Fire & Gas Detection, VESDA Systems.
  • Good knowledge of SOLAS / FSS Code / EN54 / NFPA72 / Marine Classification Rules & Regulations.
  • Resourceful, results‑oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen.
  • Able to work independently without supervision and deliver results for multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new things and have strong initiative in work and learning.
  • Basic knowledge of OT systems, such as SCADA and DCS.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices, including risk assessment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
