Supply Chain Manager – Southern Cross Healthcare

Southern Cross Brightside Hospital is a modern private surgical hospital located in central Auckland.

It offers a wide range of surgical services to around 4,500 patients each year, with 43 in-patient beds and a staff of nearly 100.

Mo te Turanga | About the Role

As Supply Chain Manager you'll lead onsite supply chain operations across the hospital – managing product arrival, storage, movement and use in clinical areas.

You'll maintain stock accuracy, drive continuous improvement and optimise operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include inventory management, new product introduction, end-of-life management, demand planning, and leading a high-performing supply chain team while partnering with clinical and management staff.

5+ years' experience in supply chain and inventory management, ideally in healthcare or a complex, multi-site environment.

Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing, coaching, and managing high-performing teams.

Strong analytical capability – confident interpreting data, drawing insights, and communicating findings clearly.

Proficiency using enterprise resource planning (ERP) and inventory management systems, with solid Excel and reporting skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills – able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Tech-savvy and adaptable, with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.

Calm and flexible under pressure, thriving in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Tertiary qualification in supply chain, logistics, or a related discipline (healthcare experience an advantage).
