Nurse Practitioner Consultant - Fixed Term until June 2026
Whānau Āwhina Plunket is the largest service in Aotearoa supporting the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-five and their whānau.
We have an important role to play in supporting wellness in our communities, we are now entering into an exciting new phase where a Nurse Practitioner Consultant to help shape the future of advanced nursing practice within Whānau Āwhina Plunket to support existing pilots and review and enhance our existing services such as our Well Child checks and 24 / 7 telehealthcare via PlunketLine
This is a 0.6FTE position, fixed term until 30 June2026.
This role can be based anywhere in Aotearoa, but given our spread across the motu, there will be a requirement to travel occasionally.
Reporting to our Chief Nurse, you will combine your advanced clinical skills clinical and strategic thinking to deliver equitable, whānau-centric outcomes for tamariki and their whānau.

In this role, you’ll :
You’ll be an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a passion for child and whānau wellbeing, and an ability to influence system and structural change and the confidence to navigate complex clinical governance environments and established organisations.
