Takanini School is a diverse and inclusive full primary in South Auckland. Many of our students are English language learners, and we take pride in celebrating the cultures, languages, and identities that make up our school community.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and fully registered teacher to support our English language learners in 2026.

About the role

The successful applicant will :

• Plan and deliver engaging ELL programmes that accelerate language learning.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to build language-rich learning environments.
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
• Provide targeted support and scaffolding to meet varied learning needs.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including cultural and community events.
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.
