About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on and motivated Assistant Manager (2IC) to support the Venue Manager and help lead our team at United Brew Works. This role is all about assisting with day‑to‑day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and stepping up to lead when the Bar Manager is away. You’ll play a key part in maintaining high standards, driving team engagement, and keeping the energy alive.

This is a full‑time role working primarily 9am‑5pm on a rotational roster (One weekend on, one weekend off!). Flexibility is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Venue Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
• Lead shifts and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management.
• Maintain compliance with WHS, sustainability, and food safety standards.
• Train and mentor team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Step into the Bar Manager role when required, ensuring continuity of operations.
