Join our Walter Peak gardening team and become the curator of nature's masterpieces.

We're on the lookout for a dedicated, self-reliant, and dependable gardener to bring their expertise to our enchanting sanctuary.

This is a full-time, permanent role that helps craft the summer magic for our guests at Walter Peak.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on annual planting plans, ensuring gardens showcase the perfect seasonal palette.

Prepare and maintain seed beds, nurturing growth across a stunning array of flora.

Plant, propagate, and cultivate trees, shrubs, bulbs, hedges, bushes, and flowers.

Transform lawn areas into lush havens through weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering, and mowing.

Install irrigation systems where required.

Shape plants through pruning, tree care, and installation of support structures.

Craft softscape and hardscape features that harmonise with the surroundings.

Combat pests and diseases with a strategic hand to keep gardens thriving.

Qualifications

Good working knowledge of different plant types, garden bed preparation, plant maintenance, and pruning.

Working knowledge of horticulture.

Hardworking with a can-do attitude.

Proven team player with excellent communication skills; you'll work with a small, close-knit team at Walter Peak.
